Local Amenities

In the village, just below the castle, there are three restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, a pharmacy, and wine cellars.

Where to find us
        By bicycle : half a mile from the Canal du Midi (PK135), over a small stone bridge (marker 59), you will immediately see the church, and then the stout stone walls of the castle tower, 

        By car : between Carcassonne (25 min) and Narbonne (35 min), follow the little river "la rigole". The castle stands beside the church on a small rocky outcrop in the middle  of Puichéric. With its imposing walls and square tower, you can’t miss it.

Avoid to go through the rue de l'église whitch is very narrow.

You can park near the main entrance to the south. Then climb one of the two stairways....

You can also park to the west, behind and below the castle.

For the slightly more adventurous, you can drive right up behind the castle where there is private parking for three cars....
